Iran temporarily released a civil rights activist named Oswat Zardoui from Dizel Abad Prison in Kermanshah, western Iran, yesterday.

Zardoui, who comes from Bayangan in the Paveh district of Kermanshah province, was detained by security forces in early May.

The activist was transferred from a security detention centre to Dizel Abad Prison in the past few days after being interrogated.

So far, no information has been obtained on the charges against him.
