Authorities at Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj, Alborz Province, transferred death row prisoner Ahmad Moradi to solitary confinement on 9 January in preparation for his execution.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned that Moradi’s family has been notified by the prison authorities of his execution, which is scheduled for tomorrow morning.
Moradi, a 33-year-old resident of Kuhdasht in Lorestan Province, was arrested on drug trafficking charges around seven years ago.
