Iranian authorities have executed Fazlollah Pour-Nasiri, a prisoner from Kuhdasht, Lorestan Province, who had been sentenced to death on drug-related charges, the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned.
Pour-Nasiri, who was arrested about three and a half years ago, was transferred to solitary confinement in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj, Alborz Province, on 30 September and executed this morning.
Another prisoner, Hamzeh Shahbazi, was also transferred to solitary confinement in preparation for execution, although no information has been released on his current status.
