The security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran arrested at least 13 Kurdish civilians and activists in the past few days in Abdanan, Mahabad, Sanandaj and Rasht and took them to undisclosed locations.

Civilians named Sonia Sharifi, 17, Amir Hossein Mousavi, 16, and Mohammad Ghassemi were arrested in Abdanan, Ilam province.

On the evening of 20 November, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces raided houses in Mahabad, West Azerbaijan province, without providing a court order.

These forces detained at least eight civilians named Diako Khuzestani, Peyman Mansouri, Hedi Nazemi, Mokhtar Amareh, Fayegh Hosseinpour, Sina Ayazi, Kaveh Azizi and Javad Ayati.

Simultaneously, the armed IRGC forces shot into the air to create an atmosphere of terror.

Separately, on 19 November, the security forces arrested an employee of the Iranian Red Crescent named Hemin Haji-Mirzaei in Sanandaj, Kurdistan province.

Also, a Kurdish civil rights activist from Sahneh in Kermanshah province named Pedram Asadi was arrested on 20 November in Rasht, Gilan province, in northern Iran.
