Due to the leniency shown by the victim’s family, a young kurdish citizen from Ravansar was saved from execution after serving eight years in prison.
Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that the victim’s family of”Omid Moradi” prevented the execution of his murderer by showing leniency during the past few days.
The murder that took place on January 12, 2008, in Ravansar through an unwanted act in which “Adel Moradi” killed his close friend”Omid Moradi” with a knife.
Among the notable points that highlighted the story of the massacre at the media level is the efforts of the residents of Ravansar who, by consecutive rallies in front of the victim’s residential area as well as on the grave of the victim, sought the forgiveness of the family and prevented the execution of Adel Moradi’s sentence.
