Erfan Rashidi, an Environment and labor Activists, was arrested last night by the security forces and transferred to an unknown location in Paveh.
The Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that at 1:30 PM on July 05, security forces have raided the house of “Erfan Rashidi” (a members of the Environment association of “Zhiva” in Paveh) without a judicial order and confiscated a number of his personal belongings while arresting and transferring him to an unknown location.
Over the past few years, Mr Rashidi has played an important role in controlling the fires at Horaman forest along with other environmental activists. Following the earthquake in Kermanshah, this activist helped the earthquake victims in camps at Sar-Pol Zahab and the suburbs for several months.
There is no information available on the fate of this activist, the reason for his arrest or where he has been detained.
