Iranian security sources have arrested a Kurdish civilian in Tehran on 10 March, while another civilian that was arrested during the recent wave of arrests in Iranian Kurdistan, has been released on bail in the same day, sources told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network.


Security forces arrested Kurdish civilian Abdolrahman Abdi, who comes from Selin village of Sarvabad in Kurdistan province, in Tehran and took him to an unknown location.


Meanwhile, on 10 March, Kurdish civilian Akram Adwai, who is also from the village of Selin and had been arrested on 12 January, was released on bail from Marivan Prison after two months of detention.
Adwaei was taken to the detention centre of the Intelligence Office and transferred to Marivan Prison after the end of his interrogation.


Since 12 January, security forces have detained six people from the village of Selin. The names of these civilians are Akram Adwai, Siamak Adwai, Fardin Adwai, Behzad Adwai, and Abdul Rahman Abdi.
