Iran has carried out the death penalties of three prisoners Sadegh Mohi, Ahad Nematollah, and Mohammad Mahmoudi in Orumiyeh Central Prison in the morning of 4 April, sources told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

On 3 April, prison authorities took the three prisoners, along with two other prisoners named Ebrahim Nasirkhah and Mostafa Nasirkhah, from wards six and three of the prison to solitary confinement for execution.

The five prisoners had previously been sentenced to death penalty on drug charges.
Prison authorities had informed the families of the prisoners that their death penalties would be carried out in the morning of 4 April. However, the execution of Ebrahim Nasirkhah and Mostafa Nasirkhah has reportedly been suspended.
