Arrest
Diako Azizi, a Kurdish civilian from the village of Bab Khalawi in Oshnavieh, West Azerbaijan Province, was arrested by security forces on 4 September 2024.
Defendant’s Rights
Since his arrest, Azizi has been denied the right to meet with his family and to have access to a lawyer.
Current Status
Azizi has been transferred to a security detention centre in Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan Province.
