Arrest
Saman Mirzaei, a civilian from the village of Sar Huyeh in Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province, was arrested by security forces at his family home in the village and taken to the Ministry of Intelligence detention centre in Sanandaj.
Defendant’s Rights
Since his arrest, he has been denied the right to meet with his family and to have access to legal representation.
Current Status
Mirzaei remains in the custody of the Ministry of Intelligence in Sanandaj.
