Iran has temporarily released today Ayoub Hadisi, a member of the Piranshahr Association of Environmental Supporters, from Naqadeh Prison after 67 days in detention on bail of 1.5 billion tomans — nearly 60,000 USD.

Security forces had arrested Hadisi at his workplace in Piranshahr, Iran’s northwestern West Azerbaijan province, on 29 January.

He was taken to the detention centre of the Ministry of Intelligence in Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan province.

In the past few days, the activist was transferred from this security detention centre to Naqadeh Prison after the end of his interrogation period.
