The whereabouts of four civilians detained by the Intelligence Organisation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the past two weeks in Marivan, Kurdistan province, remain unknown.

The names of these civilians are Sarkawt Abdi, Saadi Ghaffari, Rizgar Mosannefi, and Loghman Mosannefi.

Abdi was arrested about two weeks ago in Sanandaj, Kurdistan province; the other three civilians were detained on 23 January in the village of Chor in Marivan.

The civilians were arrested without a court order and were “severely beaten” at the time of arrest, Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned.

The charges brought against these civilians are not known yet.
