Detained Kurdish civilians Heidar Ebrahimi and Aram Molaei were released on bail from Sanandaj and Kamyaran prisons in the past few days.

Ebrahimi, who is a wrestler and the janitor of the Kamyaran Wrestling House, was released from the prison of Kamyaran on 1 February.

He was arrested by Iranian security forces on 18 January in Kamyaran and was taken to the detention centre of the Ministry of Intelligence in Sanandaj.

Molaei, who was arrested by security forces on 5 January, was released on a bail of 500 million Tomans – nearly 12,000 USD – from Sanandaj Central Prison on 31 January.

The two civilians were denied the right to legal counsel and family visits during their detention.
