At the same time as the execution of Shahram Mohammad-Beygi in Ilam Central Prison on 28 November, two other prisoners, Ali-Agha Mohammadi and Nasser Maghsoudi, were also executed in the same facility, the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has learned.

Both had previously been sentenced to death on charges of “premeditated murder”.

On 28 November, the KHRN reported that Mohammad-Beygi had been executed in Ilam Cental Prison for “premeditated murder”.

Ali-Agha Mohammadi, a 47-year-old civilian from Malekshahi, Ilam Province, was arrested last year and sentenced to death for the “premeditated murder” of his spouse.

Maghsoudi, from Darrehshahr, Ilam Province, was arrested about three years ago on charges of “premeditated murder” and subsequently sentenced to death.
