Two Kurdish civil rights activists Ataollah Reza-Robabi and Sirwan Abdollahi, from Sanandaj, have been temporarily released on bail from the city’s central prison on 8 May.

The charges against the activists, who were detained by security forces in Sanandaj on 24 April, are not yet known, sources told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

Separately, security forces have arrested Ali Allah-Veysi, a resident of Sanandaj, in the evening of 8 May on a street of Sanandaj and have transferred him to an undisclosed location.

The civilian had been arrested twice in the past few years, being accused of “collaborating with a Kurdish opposition party” and was later released on bail.
