Forces of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence have detained two Kurdish civilians named Hedi Shadikhah and Kazem Tabnak in Oshnavieh, West Azerbaijan province.

The security forces have taken the detained civilians to an undisclosed location.

Shadikhah was arrested on 3 August at his workplace in Oshnavieh.

Tabnak, however, was summoned to the office of the intelligence ministry in the city on 4 August and then arrested.

Before summoning Tabnak, the security forces reportedly went to his house in order to arrest him, but could not find him at home.

There is no information about the reason for the arrest and the whereabouts of the two Kurdish civilians.
