Iranian security forces arrested Kurdish civilians Hassan Mardani and Loghman Pishyar without a warrant in Bukan, West Azerbaijan Province, on 10 August, and took them to an undisclosed location.
There is no information about the charges brought against these civilians or where they are being held.
According to statistics compiled by the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN), in July, at least 75 Kurdish civilians and activists were arrested by the security services on political charges in various cities in the provinces of West Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Ilam and Tehran.
