Prisoner Ebrahim Nasirikhah has been transferred today from ward 4 of Orumiyeh Central Prison to solitary confinement for the execution of his death sentence.
Nasirikhah was sentenced to the death penalty on “drug-related” charges.
On 3 April 2021, prison officials took him and several other prisoners to solitary confinement to carry out their death sentences, but his execution was temporarily suspended for unknown reasons.
