Iranian border forces have opened fire today on a group of kolbars in Nowsud border areas in Kermanshah province, western Iran, injuring three kolbars.

Dozens of shots fired from border guards’ shotguns have hit the kolbars’ bodies.

Reportedly, one of the wounded kolbars was a person named Ako Khoda-Moradifar, a resident of Salas-e Babajani in Kermanshah province. The identities of the other two kolbars are not yet known.

The wounded kolbars were taken to medical centres for treatment.

In the past few years, Iranian Border Guards in the Hawraman border areas of Kermanshah and Kurdistan provinces have been targeting kolbars with shotguns, resulting in the injuries of dozens.
