A Kurdish kolbar named Arash Nouri who was shot by Iranian border forces has lost his life yesterday in a hospital in Kermanshah, western Iran, due to the severity of his wounds.

Forces of the Border Guard Command had severely injured the 30-year-old kolbar on the same day in the border areas of Nowsud, Kermanshah province.

He lost his life several hours after being hospitalised in Taleghani Hospital in Kermanshah.

Nouri was a married resident of Javanrud in Kermanshah province.

In the past week, border forces killed Nouri and another kolbar named Soleiman Ebrahimzadeh and wounded at least 16 other kolbars in the border areas of Nowsud in Kermanshah province, Baneh in Kurdistan province, and Sardasht in West Azerbaijan province.
