During the past few days, four detained Kurdish civilians- Reza Ramezani, Arash Darabi, Yahya Saidmoradi and Afshin Saidmoradi- who had previously been detained by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Kermanshah and transferred to Dieselabad Prison, were released on bail.

Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has obtained information that Reza Ramezani, an athlete from Islamabad Qarb, was released from Kermanshah’s Dieselabad Prison on Aug 27, 2020, on a 600 million Toman bail.

He was arrested on July 1 by the IRGC intelligence unit on charges of “propaganda activities against the state” and “insulting the sanctities of Islam.” The Kurdish citizen was transferred from the IRGC Detention Center to Dieselabad Prison in Kermanshah on August 22, after interrogations.

According to another report received, on Tuesday August 25, three young detainees from Darab village, Dalaho city, named Arash Darabi, Yahya Seidmoradi and Afshin Seidmoradi, who were arrested by the IRGC on Aug 5, 2020, were also released on 400 and 500 million Toman bails from Dieselabad prison in Kermanshah. They have been charged with links to Sunni religious groups.
