Four civilians named Salman Afra, Aram Nikpey, Sivan Parto, and Jamal Gerami have been released on bail in the past few days from the prison of Marivan.

The four men, who come from the village of Ney in Marivan, Kurdistan province, were charged with “collaborating with a Kurdish opposition party”.

Aram Nikpey was arrested by security forces on 23 March after being summoned to the office of the intelligence ministry, while Salman Afra, Sivan Parto, and Jamal Gerami were arrested by security forces on 23 and 24 March.

After being interrogated in a detention centre in Marivan, they were transferred to the city prison.
