Iran has released on bail a Kurdish civilian named Kaveh Soleimanpour from Mahabad Prison on 12 October after 70 days in detention, sources told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).
Meanwhile, four other civilians named Diyar Soleimanpour, Farouq Soleimanpour, Massoud Soleimanpour, and Mohsen Soleimani, who were arrested by security forces on 9 October, are still in custody.
On 2 August, security forces arrested Kaveh Soleimanpour in Mahabad, West Azerbaijan province.
He was transferred from one of the security detention centres in Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan province, to Mahabad Prison in the past few days after his interrogation ended.
The other four civilians are being held in one of the security detention centres in Mahabad without the right to visits or contacting their families.
No information has, so far, been obtained about the charges against these civilians.
All five civilians come from the Khor Khoreh village of Mahabad.
