At least one Kolbar has been killed and four others wounded in the Baneh and Sardasht border areas over the past few days while another Kolbar was wounded due to falling from the mountain.

Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) has been informed that forces of the Malteh Police Station in Baneh opened fire on a caravan of the Kolbars on Nov 29, 2018و which resulted in the death of a 30-year-old Kolbar and injury of two others.

One of the injured Kolbar, has been identified as Hedayat Salimi. There is no news about another Kolbar identity.

Moreover, a caravan of Kolbars was targeted by the Iranian border guards without any prior warning in the Sardasht border area near the village of Kani Zardon on Nov 28, 2018. This attack resulted in the serious injury of a Kolbar called Reza Vesta Simani.

Later that same day, a 21-year-old Kolbar from Nashmir village of Baneh known as Sa’dullah Sharifzadeh was injured as a result of falling from Baneh’s mountain.

On the night of Nov 27, frontier forces of Broishani outposts of Baneh fired at a group of kolbars. As a result of this incident, a Kolbar, Mehdi Amini was wounded. He was taken to the Baneh hospital by local people and he is currently undergoing treatment.
