“On November 16, a group of Kurdish border porters–known as Kolbar- were shot by Iranian border guards in the border area of “Sohr Tahzin” in the city of Baneh in Kurdistan Province, as a result of which a Kolbar named Najmalddin Moradi was wounded. He was taken to a hospital in Baneh for treatment.”, local sources told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

Earlier on November 28, the Anti-Trafficking Unit of the police and the Law Enforcement Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran (NAJA) also shot at the vehicle of a civilian named Khosrow Sharifi who was carrying passengers in one of the border villages of the Baneh. As a result, the driver was injured and lost his life in the hospital after 10 days.
