Iranian border guards have opened fire on a group of kolbars on 6 July, injuring a kolbar named Mohammad Bahrami in the Hangeh-ye Zhal region in Kurdistan province.

The forces shot the kolbar from a close range. He was taken to Salah al-Din Ayubi Hospital in Baneh, sources said.

According to statistics compiled by the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN), in the past two weeks, border forces and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) killed at least three kolbars named Fahmin Rostamzadeh, Vahed Mohammadpour, and Keyvan Hagh-Moradi in the Sarvabad and Sardasht border areas.

During this period, border forces wounded at least six other kolbars.
