Iranian border guards have opened fire on a group of kolbars on 31 August in the border area of Hangeh-ye Zhal in Baneh, Kurdistan Province, injuring kolbars Bahman Karimpanah and Arman Rasouli.
The two kolbars were taken to Salah al-Din Ayubi Hospital in Baneh for treatment.
In the past two weeks, a convoy of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been stationed in the border areas of Siranband and Nanur in Baneh and harassed kolbars.
Reportedly, a security atmosphere has been created in the area with the presence of these forces, which are armed with light and heavy weapons.
