Iranian border forces targeted a group of kolbars in the Dulehbi border area of Sardasht, West Azerbaijan province, on 19 September, and killed a kolbar named Omid Mohammadzadeh.
The kolbar’s body was taken to the forensic medicine department in Sardasht and has not yet been returned to his family.
Mohammadzadeh, 39, was the father of three children and a resident of Rabat, West Azerbaijan province.
He is the third kolbar that border forces murdered in the past week.
Furthermore, on 18 September, a middle-aged kolbar named Shawkat Ghorbani suffered a heart attack and lost his life, running from border forces that chased him.
Ghorbani, 45, was the father of three children and a resident of Dezavar village of Nowdeshah, Kurdistan province.
