A kolbar was shot and wounded by border guards at the Nosoud Frontier Checkpoint yesterday morning.

A reliable source in Novosud told Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) that Commander of Rleh Bakhsh Checkpoint, Lieutenant Ahmad Beigi, has shot a Kolbar from a close distance on Wednesday, January 01 although he had not been carrying any cargo.  As a result, a kolbar, Amanj Shokri, son of Tawfiq from Shoshme village was injured. 

The source further said that the concerned Kolbar has been taken to Kermanshah Medical Centre for treatment, where the doctors have advised that his left handis a possibility of denervation of his left hand.

According to the data collected by KHRN, at least 7 Kolbars have been injured by direct shooting of Iranian troops and one drowned since mid-December.
