Two kolbars have been injured in the past two days in Hawraman border area in western Iran; one has been shot by border guards and the other has fallen from border heights.

Sources told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN) that a kolbar named Yousef Malian, from Marivan, was injured after falling from a border height while carrying goods on his back in the border areas of Sarvabad in Kurdistan province on 15 February.

Separately, on 14 February, Iranian border guards targeted a group of kolbars with shotguns in the Nowsud border of Kermanshah province, as a result of which a kolbar named Siwan Shirmohammadi – from the city of Shaho – was wounded.

The two kolbars are currently hospitalised in the cities of Marivan and Javanroud.
