Iranian Border Guard Command forces have killed a young kolbar and injured two in the border areas of Baneh, Kurdistan province, on 30 November.

Forces at Zali military outpost in Baneh’s border village of Chuman opened fire on a group of kolbars, killing Adel Alipour, 22, and injuring Yasin Aminpour.

Separately, border forces in the Hangeh-ye Zhal border area in Baneh shot and injured a 33-year-old kolbar named Fereydoun Mohammadi.

At least 14 kolbars died, injured during November

According to statistics compiled by the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN), at least 14 Kurdish civilians died or were injured working as kolbars and tradesmen in November.

Iranian border forces shot at least 11 kolbars in the country’s western borders, killing 10 and wounding another.

On 17 November, a child kolbar committed suicide after border forces confiscated his mules in Paveh, Kermanshah province.

A Kurdish tradesman also lost his life in the border areas of Orumiyeh on 2 November.

Also, a landmine explosion in Hangeh-ye Zhal village in Baneh, Kurdistan province, injured a kolbar on 14 November.
